one-line linked haiku       october 1982

found 'renga'     concordance, king james version

the man is

the man is become as one of us
for man sake
    a woman slew him
God is not a man
should such a man as I flee?
to keep thee from the evil woman
man is born to trouble
seest thou as man seeth?
    a foolish woman is clamorous
vain man would be wise
man that is born of a woman
    a virtuous woman
art thou the first man that was born?
man that is a worm
with a brawling woman in wide house
God is greater than man
a woman have I not found
the man of earth
    as a woman forsaken
man being in honour abideth not
a woman shall compass a man
what man is he that liveth
    whoso looketh on a woman
thou turnest man to destruction
O woman, great is thy faith
man goeth forth to his labor
    the woman died also
I will not fear, what can man do?
a good man obtaineth favour
     why trouble ye the woman?
who knoweth what is good for man?
there shall be this, that this woman hath done, be told
cease ye from man
woman, what have I to do with thee?
it is not in man to direct his steps
     woman, behold thy son
I am the man that hath seen affliction
this woman was full of good works
I am God, and not man
     the natural use of woman
no man can serve
tell no man
it is good for a man not to touch a woman
they saw no man
no man hath seen God
the woman is the glory of the man
behold the man!
what man knoweth things of a man?
God sent forth his Son, made of a woman
man is not of the woman
though our outward man perish
I suffer not a woman to teach
in fashion as a man
the man Christ Jesus
    the woman being deceived
