little cedar bushes
in concrete pots
people wait for the bus
sit on them

follow the mounted police
collect manure

each corner
toward the village the gay
getting gayer

another good thing
about nyc being
from out of town

up&down
paterson streets
just another

the tolls
same as
entering

buildings disappear

driving up this mountain: downhill

filling station
just the smell of gas
in my nose

almost home
the sono mama of

over the old bridge
the toll free troll

down the road
the falls
dark at night
